About our studio
Chloé Mason Gray is a Mexico City-based interior design studio that specializes in interior design and custom furniture for residential and commercial projects worldwide. The studio welcomes projects of all scopes, from furnishing selections to whole-home renovations and new builds.
About Chloé, Founder & Creative Director
Born and raised in New York City, Chloé grew up in a creative household—her mother is a fashion designer, and her father owns an antique restoration studio. Being around antiques since she was a little girl gave her a deep love for vintage furniture, and for transforming old pieces into something new. As a teenager, she spent several summers apprenticing with an expert in gilded antiques, where she learned about the craft of fine furniture finishes. Chloé laid the foundation for her design vocabulary with a B.A. in Art History at New York University.
Today, Chloé runs her studio between Mexico City and New York City. Her approach to projects is highly collaborative—she works with a diverse team of Mexican designers, artisans, fabricators, and artists. When developing a design concept, she draws on her extensive studies of art history; her time living in Florence, Rome, and London; her love of antiques; and her deep connection to Mexican design and culture.
